PERFECT Imperfections

I've always admired my aunt, Noko Ohno whose avant garde and daring style has been a constant inspiration. 

As a fashion designer she aims to capture the essence of self expression and graceful movement staying true to her roots and origins of a core desire to make women more beautiful by drawing out their individuality through fashion.

Her signature pleated fashion gives an innate sense of freedom. A feeling that fits gently into the body, drawing out the charm that matches the movement of the body.   Inspired by her unique creations, my journey to Havana took on a special purpose - I wanted to discover young women who would embody the spirit of my aunt's fashion, allowing them to experience this freedom of self-expression and make them feel beautiful. These photographs capture the perfect imperfections of Havana's girls, showcasing the synergy between Noko Ohno's designs and the radiant individuality of the young women who wear them.
