JUSTICIA Village
Kruger National Park, South Africa
To live in pure joy, that is the poetic justice.

I visited Justicia Village in Kurger National Park with a guide to journey into the heart of South Africa's cultural and natural wonders. After several days of safari adventures in the bush, I was yearning to discover the authentic life of the local people in the village. I was captivated by this young girl, barefoot, with expressive eyes conveying the pure simplicity and unadulterated joy of life. Her gaze spoke volumes, leaving an indelible mark on my soul.
Our journey continued as we visited Happy Home and Tshuxekani preschool, where we were welcomed by the children who sang us their school anthem with such fervor, power, and genuine emotion that it resonated deeply within my heart. Unlike my own school days, where singing the national anthem felt routine, these young voices exuded strength, confidence and passion with raw authenticity.
We then immersed ourselves in the daily life of Justicia Village and went on to participate in the traditional Muchongola dance, a vibrant celebration of their local heritage. We savored the flavors of the local cuisine, listened to enchanting folklore and engaged with traditional healers who generously shared their wealth of history and medicinal knowledge.

I left Justicia Village not only with a deeper understanding of its people and traditions but also memories forever etched into my mind altering my perspective in profound ways. The simplicity of life, the warmth of community, and the authentcity of cultural expressions left an enduring impact, creating a narrative of South Africa that extends far beyond the realms of a typical safari adventure.
